Celebrated Joel's 25th Birthday on March 17!!!

I can't believe our youngest son just turned 25!!!  It seems just like yesterday I was running around after three toddlers......now they are all grown up!!

Joel had a very good day on his birthday....lots of well wishers on Facebook, cards in the mail, .plus he worked at Arby's, and helped out at AWANA in the evening.  He had a pleasant surprise as the entire Sparkey's group sang Happy Birthday to him!!  He loved it!  Friday night we are planning on taking him out for a birthday dinner followd by cake over at Jason and Emily's.

We love you Joel....and are so pleased with the young man you are becoming!!!

A great time!!!

We were in GR on Saturday to visit Kurt/Heidi, Andrew, Jon, Kirsten and Rachelle. And...to watch Joel play in a Special Olympics basketball tournament.

Kurt and Heidi moved to Kenosha, Wisconsin last Sunday where Kurt started his new position with GFS on Monday, March 8th.
This was their last weekend in Michigan:(  We are going to miss having them only 90 miles away....but are looking forward to the new adventures and memories we will make visiting them at  their new home!

Andrew at lunch:)
He asked the waitress why there were no sprinklers in the ceiling!!  He doesn't miss a beat!

Kurt and the kids came to watch Uncle Joel play basketball:)
They would clap when he made a basket and holler "Yay Uncle Joel

                                                                                                Johnny....always so sweet!
The kids by the fish tank
Grandpa and Kirsten
We went over to Ron and Carol's after the game.  The girls had a blast as Daddy played airplane with them using a plastic bucket/pan.  They giggled so hard!!

Below are some pictures from The Area 32 Bobcat's team!!!
We were so proud of their team!  The all played very well...and have improved so much this year!  They won the first game and lost the second...but they played with great sportsmanship!!!!
