Weekend Fun at the Nichols

Mom and Dad drove over from Onekama on Sunday to visit,
and also enjoy dinner. Ken fixed a roast with veggies, and
a chocolate pie for dessert! It was wonderful to spend time
with my parents and to be an encouragement to one another.
Mom just finished up with 7 months of chemotherapy last week.
Please continue to pray for both of us, ( and our husbands)
as we face continuing health issues.....
but we are both determinedto improve and look forward to a relaxing summer!!!

Grandma, Joel,and Grandpa

My sister Linda and brother-in-law Don visited Saturday
afternoon on their way back from visiting Mom and Dad, and Don's folks in Onekama. . We had supper together and enjoyed a great visit!! Thank you to Ken who fixed an excellent stew, green jello, and macaroni salad!

Jason and Emily and kids came for lunch on Saturday. Ken grilled
burgers outside.....kind of felt like spring!!! wishful thinking!
I had a chance to check out their new family van...
complete with DVD and stow and go seating!!!

Uncle Joel did quite a bit of snowmobiling this weekend.

Baby Dedication Pictures

This is Kurt and Heidi's Pastor Todd Kinde, Grace Bible Church, (http://www.gracebible.ws/about.htm) praying for each baby as they were dedicated.Above is Kirsten, and below is Rachelle. It was a very special service as the Pastor shared each baby's name and what it meant, then he prayed over each one individually. We were glad we could witness this special occasion.

Check out this Christian Horizons brochure!!!!

Joel made the front page of a vacation brochure!!!
This came in the mail yesterday from Christian Horizons!
Each summer Joel goes to a camp sponsored by the Christian Horizons camping and vacation ministry. Last year he attended the camps at Kettunen Center, Tustin and the one at Cran-Hill Ranch in Rodney, Mich. Christian Horizons holds camps all around the world, so we were pretty excited that Joel made it to the front of their brochure!!! he was pretty pumped about this!!!
