Thursday With Grandma

We started out our morning with breakfast
and then watched the "Gaither Kids" Bible show
where we learned about "staying on the path",
"obeying the rules"....and "helping each other".
Isaac set up the wooden train set and he and
I used our imaginations to make up lots of stories
and tall tales!!!
Today we pulled out our game of
"electronic battleship" that our boys
played with when they were young.
Even though we really didn't know what
we were doing....we had fun placing the pegs
and ships in position and listening to the
battleship sounds.

When Seth layed down to take his
nap....Zoey and Cash hopped up to lay by him.
The dogs were perfectly still as Seth
snuggled them!

Seth really wanted to nap right between
Zoey and Cash....but I told him it would better
to lay his head on the pillow!

They all slept for about two hours!
While Seth napped....Isaac and I worked with
his spelling tiles on forming various words.
Some of the words that he sounded out
today were trumpet, sprinkle, grandpa,
piano, and a bunch more.....we had fun!
Later in the afternoon the boys got ready to
go outside for some fresh air.
mmmm...nothing like the taste of fresh snow:)

Seth.....all bundled up

Isaac sliding down Grandpa's snow hill
A fun end to a wonderful day!
