Ken's Birthday!!

Last Thursday. 1/22/09 Ken turned "52". He got lots of emails and birthday wishes, cards from his kids, and a very yummy dinner! Jason and Emily had us over for supper...and Emily fixed baked salmon, asparagus, mashed potatoes, home made rolls, and German chocolate cake for dessert. I wish I had taken some pics of the food :( Joel went to a CHS b-ball game.....that's why he is missing in the photos.

On the home front Ken has been very busy painting two bedrooms in our house getting ready for carpet to be installed this next week. Joel is moving into the bigger of the two bedrooms..and is very excited about the change! When it's all complete...I'll do a post on it!

Today we went to a Special Olympics basketball ball game that Joel played in. Ken and I went to it, and were joined by our friend Janet Neyer to watch the game. We had a great time watching the athletes, and just chatting away about life in general!
